Style PBS007 - CLASSIC

Description High leg Combat type leather boot.

Fully waterproof and insulated against the cold.

Padded topband and padded full bellows tongue. Eyelet and speed loop lacing system incorporating a lace locking device.

Direct moulded dual density polyurethane commando pattern sole.

Colour Black.

Size range 3 - 14 full sizes. in three width fittings.

Upper materials Upper - black full grain hydrophobic treated leather.

Tongue - black softee full grain hydrophobic treated leather.

Both leathers treated to be highly water resistant whilst maintaining a high degree of breathability and ventilation.

The upper will dry quickly and remain supple in wear, retaining it's shape & form. Minimum maintenance required. All threads used in the construction of the upper are flame retardant

Lining materials A fully waterproof / insulated bootie construction consisting of three high performance materials.

1. A Sympatex membrane provides a guaranteed barrier against water whilst still allowing the foot to breathe.

2. THINSULATE™ interlayer provides thermal insulation against the cold in winter conditions down to -25°c.

3. A CAMBRELLE® layer next to the foot provides comfort whilst being absorbent, breathable, hardwearing and resistant to rot and mildew.

All the seams of the boot are heat sealed with

Sympatex waterproof tape.

Threads Are made from anti-wicking, rot resistant, flame retardant polyester / cotton.

Seam sealing All lower leg seams and stitching are sealed with rubber based sealant for additional water resistance.

Fastenings The boot is easy to put on and take off. Double eyelets and non -snag speed loops together with a lace locking device provide ease of lacing and fit adjustment, all fastenings are made from strong rust resistant metals for durability.

Toe puff A hardened formosol polystyrene material provides good shape retention and rigidity at the toe.

Insole Is constructed from a non woven tri-laminate material to provide torsional rigidity, support and ground insulation.

Heel reinforcment Internal moulded thermoplastic stiffener provides for support, rigidity and shape retention.

Midsole A stainless steel midsole provides protection against sharp objects.

Soling System A direct moulded dual density soling system, comprising of a low density lightweight polyurethane midsole to provide comfort and reduce muscle fatigue and a hardwearing solid polyurethane outsole for durability and maximum abrasion resistance. The outsole has a deep cleated tread design to ensure good grip on a variety of surfaces, oil, acid & alkali resistant. Heat resistant to 160c

Laces Black round tagged flame retardant laces are provided for ease of lacing.

Footbed Full length contoured footbed - sock for underfoot comfort and support. This is removable and fully washable.

The boot is manufactured to conform in all respects to British MOD specification DC/PS/5849 Issue 2 , is NATO stock numbered, and has for many years been an essential part of the UK soldiers kit
